Year 4 and 5 Booster Resources Week Beginning 15.6.09
For Numeracy this week I have added a link to a fantastic maths website.
Find the following games to play:
Near Doubles ( you have to make different target numbers from the operations given)
Online sudoku 9x9 (This is a great game to play, which will really get your brain working!)
Sophie's World Tour (This asks you to work out exchange rates from different parts of the world)
In year 5 we will be reminding ourselves how to set speech out correctly and begin some work on persuasive writing.
In Year 4 we will be carrying on with our Tudor diary entries. Have you found any more excellent websites about life on board a Tudor ship?
We will also be looking at homophones. Homophones are words which almost sound the same but have different meanings and are spelt differently.
