International Week

Having clocked up many, many miles around the world, all pupils and staff at WPS have now returned from their trips during international week, reporting that they had a wonderful time and learnt so much about the countries they visited. These countries ranged from Australia to Peru, from Italy to the USA and from Spain to Egypt.

An exciting check-in procedure and flight from Werrington International Airport started the week. Pupils then carried out a week of learning which included songs, traditional dances, arts and crafts, as well as their own independent research about their destination country. The week ended with a celebration of learning where the children showed other pupils in their key stage something they had learned and enjoyed doing during the week, along with an impressive show of bhangra dancing from pupils and staff too!
