It's a really good website. I went here and it was amazing.
Hello! Just wanted to say thanks to Mr. Wilding and all my teacher in WPS. Im in year 9 now getting on really well. I'm in top sets for all my classes now and I'm going to try to go to Oxford University. I loved my primary school and I'm really glad I went here. Thanks so much! x
I, quite by chance, found myself looking at the W.P.S website this evening and thought I would leave a comment. I am currently in my last ever year of school and intending to go to university, so all of this seems a long time ago. I do remember teachers (Mrs.Taylor and Mr.Moody, as well as all of the others) and want to thank them as they all gave everybody a really fantastic start on education, and life. Lots seems to have been done to the school since I left in 2003 (doesnt sound too long ago, but it is), and it all looks really good. Mrs. Jones will always be a complete legendary Headteacher. I am still in touch with some people from primary school, but would love to find others, especially before going to university. I loved my time at W.P.S; treasure it. (Especially Prose Reading with Mrs. Birford)
I was a pupil in the 1950s, I left in 1958. The headmaster when I was first there was Mr Sykes, he was succeeded by Mr Lukeman. My father was at that time Rector of Etton and Vicar of Helpston. I often wonder what happened to my fellow pupils. I am now aged 62, married and living in Exeter. I work as a driver for Johnsons Dry Cleaners based in Exeter but covering all of North and East Devon. I have no children of my own but have 8 grandchildren through my wife who was married before. I would be very interested to hear news of anyone who was at Werrington School at the same time as me.
Hiay, in W.P.S i have had a wonderfull experiance and i have made new friends and i have met super teachers!!! in have learned so much and improved in so much{i hope!!!}. i will hate leaving and i will niss school so much but i am looking forward to going to A.M.V.C and macking new friends. And What MIss Gedge has always said is: Don't follow you'r dreams, chase them!!! wise words by a wise and wonderfull teacher.
