Basic Skills Quality Mark

Werrington Primary School

Basic Skills Quality Mark

We currently have the 10 Year Award for revalidating the Quality Mark and value the recognition this provides.  However this is reviewed every three years and so...

Mrs Pilcher the Basic Skills Quality Mark assessor visited WPS on Wednesday 5th February 2014 to undertake a review and assess the school against the latest standards.

This involved meeting children, staff who work at our school and visiting classrooms to observe learning.  Mrs Threadgill(Deputy Headteacher KS1) and Mr Moody (Deputy Headteacher KS2) co-ordinated a whole school effort to compile evidence in support of our self evaluation against the new standards.

We have been informed that we have passed this assessment which is a tremendous piece of feedback!  The full report will be made available via the website.

Well done everyone.
