Y5 Grafham Trip Update 1

After a very pleasant drive the coach and associated cars arrived at a very sunny Grafham Water Centre.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to post the first Y5 Grafham Water Centre update.

What a beautiful day!  The weather could not have been better for the start of the Year 5 Grafham Water residential.  It was lovely to see smiley happy faces from both coach and footpath as the children departed from school.

The journey by coach and car was very pleasant with a sense of anticipation and lots of chat.  As we neared the centre the sun was gleaming across Grafham Water with tiny ripples in the light breeze.

The children were met by a team of instructors who ensured that everyone settled in quickly.  It appears that the instructor team comprises of larger than life characters which bodes well for the stay. Over £3 million pounds has been invested in the centre recently and it shows - WOW.

Please do look out for an update tomorrow with photos.  The WPS Grafham Crew hope Mums/Dads and those that care for them enjoy some peace and calm whilst they are away.  Beware, a suitcase full of washing and a life time of tales to tell awaits you on Wednesday when they return!
