National Science and Engineering Week 15th - 19th March 2010

Next week we will be celebrating the National Science and Engineering Week in school and pupils can  expect to experience many exciting scientific experiments and practical opportunities.
In KS1 children will be experimenting with electrical circuits, investigating bubbles, having fun with magnets and finding out about floating and sinking.
In KS2 children will have the chance to find out about electrical conductors and insulators, the Earth, Sun and Moon, forces, the human body, how materials change and how materials can be separated by sieving and filtering.  They will also have the chance to learn lots about rocks and soils.
There will also be an exciting competition to enter which teachers will be telling the children more about next week.
